Back in 1971 a certain Isaac Hayes released his 5^th studio album, Black Moses, on this album was a track that was to become famously sampled by Glory Box in the mid 1990’s and used in countless advertising campaigns since. The record we are talking about is ‘Ikes Rap’, one of the most seductive descending basslines you are ever likely to hear.

Now, in 2015 we hit with a single from Alessia Cara entitled ‘Here’ where the original track has been heavily sampled. Let this take nothing away from the latest production or the way she completely makes it her own. I loved it after my first listen, im infatuated after my 100^th.
